MASK PEDAGOGY
from the tradition of Jacques Lecoq, his predecessors, and followers
Justin Durel and Alenka Marinič
In this lecture, Justin Durel and Alenka Marini; will introduce the neutral theatrical masks used in the teachings of Jacques Lecoq. They will explain the historical and theatre background of these masks. Jacques Lecoq was a renowned French theatre maker and teacher whose vision of theatre and education was based on mask and legacz of commedia dell’arte. His work left a significant mark on contemporary theatre even in Slovenia, despite the fact that he is not very well known here.
