A 5-day workshop with the Italian actress and theatre teacher Alessia Desogus, exploring the basic principles of stage performance.

In the search of an actor's beauty, Alessia is going to create an atmosphere where time passes by fast and where playfulness is valued above anything else. Alessia's teaching is based around sensibility and candidness enriched with a cynical humour. This allows participants to see their work from a distance, hence creating an ambience where chance are highest for things to happen.

Alessia Desogus comes from Sardinia. She has passed through many different theatre methods before studying in Paris under Philippe Gaulier. Being a singer, actress, director and a theatre teacher, she doesn't mind when referred to as show-woman. She works regularly in Italy, France and Spain, and has also performed at the International Cabaret Festival in Mexico. Alessia lives in Granada, Spain, where she has been teaching acting at the CAU circus school for the past decade.
