An unusual group gathers in a shared home — Hairy Mouse, Winged Sparrow, and Buttery Pancake. At first they live together harmoniously, each doing what they do best. The Sparrow flies through the forest collecting food, the Mouse chops wood and keeps the stove burning, while the Pancake cooks the tastiest and greasiest soup imaginable.

But when they decide to switch their everyday tasks, misunderstandings and troubles begin… Will their friendship survive?

The performance combines traditional folk storytelling with classical hand-puppet theatre. Through humour and playfulness, it speaks about cooperation, work, and the importance of every member of a community.

A show for children and families to enjoy, laugh at — and perhaps leave craving pancakes.
