FROM PALEOLITHING TO TWITTING
Matafir and Jaka A. Vojevec
Slovenians are a most excellent nation. Just look at everything we have: valleys and mountains, seaside and plains, and a lot of fences. Not to mention the highest number of tractors and shopping centres per capita. We have Tina Maze, Tadej Pogačar, Luka Dončič, even Tesla is almost ours! And we don’t mean the one with electric cars.
But, how did it all start? And when? In 1991, when we realised the dream and declared independence? In the 7th century with the great Slavic migrations? Or earlier still, with the Veneti, the lake dwellers, perhaps with the Neanderthals? Who are we, anyway? Where did we come from? Why are we here? And what are we supposed to do, now that we arrived?
All these hard questions will be answered by three intrepid researchers, adventurers and time-travellers. The magic of theatre and imagination, lubricated by excessive amounts of humour will transport us far back into the past.
The show is in Slovene.
