DOWN MEMORY LANE
Branko Potočan & Jana Menger
The performance is designed as a journey through time and space, derived from conversations about dance from the co-founders of the physical theatre group Fourklor, which has been active since 1994. In these 25 years, countless memories and connections were made in the world of dance as well as emotionally, which are all brought into the present in the conversation of movement of the two dancers as an intimate and universal string of pictures, which is constantly being (re)experienced and remade. It is all about a concise walk through their shared dance history, which has shaped them as dancers as well as choreographers that are still prevalent in co-creating a wider space of contemporary art scene. With some added spice of black humour and boldness.
