A circus troupe is getting ready for their show. One stormy night, the wind blew away their big top, so now they look up at the stars each evening — and sometimes, the Moon makes an appearance too.
Each day they find themselves in a different town, among new people.
But this time, a clown named Rose suddenly appears on stage and turns the entire show upside down — much to the dismay of the self-important ringmaster, Maestro Gorsky.
The performance has a mosaic structure and blends aerial disciplines of contemporary circus with the rich tradition of physical theatre and contemporary dance. It weaves together the poetry of clowning and the unpredictability of improvisational and street theatre.
Life is a circus.
